Ward Family Mission
“Creating jobs while running a sustainable business that supports the local market. Supply professional and responsible recycling and waste diversion services that not only save money but educate and grow the communities’ understanding and accessibility to recycling.”
Pinellas County Schools has recycled newsprint and mixed paper with Recycling Services (formerly S/P Recycling) since 1998. Recycling Service employees are courteous and professional and their services meet or exceed our expectations. Recycled materials are carefully documented and rebates are paid within designated intervals. Pinellas County Schools expects to continue doing business with Recycling Services.

We recently had a successful book recycling program with RSF at the University’s Library, where we recycled 3.87 tons of books. RSF is a strategic recycling partner with UT, well positioned to handle University’s recycling goals, for a more Sustainable UT. We’ve even established a close relationship with Tyler (manager at RSF) who did a presentation during Earth Week, 2023 on “Modern Day Recycling at UT".
